About Pluto:

1.  Dwarf Planet: Reclassified in 2006, Pluto is now considered a dwarf planet, not one of the eight major planets.

2 Kuiper Belt Object: It resides in the Kuiper Belt, a vast region of icy bodies beyond Neptune's orbit.

3.  Orbit: Pluto has a highly elliptical and tilted orbit, occasionally bringing it closer to the Sun than Neptune.

4.  Size: It's quite small, even smaller than Earth's Moon.

5.  Composition: Its surface is covered primarily in nitrogen ice, with water ice making up much of its interior.

6.  Temperature: Pluto is extremely cold, with average surface temperatures around -232°C.

7.  Atmosphere: It possesses a thin, transient atmosphere of nitrogen, methane, and carbon monoxide.

8.  Moons: Pluto has five known moons, with Charon being the largest and nearly half Pluto's size.

9.  Heart Feature: A prominent, heart-shaped nitrogen ice plain called "Tombaugh Regio" is a key surface feature.

10. New Horizons: NASA's New Horizons spacecraft conducted the only close flyby in 2015, providing detailed images and data.
